If you can, Please give Blood! Red Cross

As someone from the New York/New Jersey area. I have many friends and Families affected by the World Trade Center bombing. I'd like to ask anyone who can help the Red Cross (Via donation or giving blood) to do so. Think about it this way, sooner or later they will help you.

Please sign my new guestbook and let me know what you think of my site.

Authorware

Welcome to my Authorware page. Below are some Authorware tools that you may use to create evil.... I mean cool Authorware stuff. Let me know if you like them. I'm looking for some neat projects that people might find interesting and might one day be used to create a mythical Authorware operating system.... One can dream. Enjoy the toys.

For those of you who don't know, Authorware is a tool used to create multimedia programs. It can be used to create games, online learning, interactive software or any other type of program. It is mainly used by corporations to provide easy to build, professional training. It is produced by Macromedia.

This is a countdown timer, that lets the user know how much time is left. It also can be modified to keep track of how much time is past. It uses calculation icons not wait icons.

Desktop is a calculator. It displays the time, date and the current computer memory usage.

This is a notepad that saves the notes to a text file at the program location. It also gives you the ability to print all your notes. It uses a call to write.exe to print your notes.

This is a paint program, it is still in development, but it is an excellent example of how to draw using Authorware. You can choose custom colors and the cursor gives you coordinates.

This file reminds you to save your file. It pops up a window and gives you the option of save, save as or save later. .

So you say you want a resolution... well... ya know....This will check your screen size..

This is an example of left/middle/right mouse button use. It includes codes for multiple mouse buttons.

A quick demo of how to use hot spots. Including the different options...

Numbers is a guessing game that uses a random number generator. It is designed in a loop so that it can have an infinite number of levels.

CD copy protection

This does NOT protect from a direct copy, But it does search for files that should be with the program (even though these files are not necessary to run the program.) and it checks to see if the CD is labeled correctly. If it finds it is an illegal copy, it boots you out of the program.
Hide Buttons

This hides perpetual menu buttons in programs where the disabled button state is visible.

Collage

A collage that synchs audio with pop up pictures.

Multiple text entries

This evaluates several multiple text entries at once.

Quicktime Test
Check which version of Quicktime you have and asks if you want to run the QT install.
Glossary
This is a movable window glossary. The terms are grouped by letter using text files.

Screen Names

This is a tool used to align storyboard names with actual screen names. Very useful for testing large projects.

Games & Fun stuff
